H2sea Re-Selected for EU Business Hub Japan Mission

H2sea re-selected for EU business mission Japan

H2sea has again been selected to join the EU Business Hub mission to Japan, marking the second time the company will participate in this EU-funded initiative supporting collaboration between European innovators and Japanese industry.

The upcoming mission will take place from 15–19 March 2026 during Smart Energy Week Spring 2026 at International Exhibition Center Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. As part of the programme, H2sea will exhibit at the EU Pavilion alongside other European companies and participate in B2B matchmaking, networking events, sector briefings and knowledge exchange sessions. In total, 50 companies from 19 EU countries will join the delegation.

The mission takes place within the broader framework of EU–Japan cooperation in the energy sector centered around the Green Alliance, the Energy Dialogue and the Memorandum of Cooperation on Hydrogen. This continued collaboration provides H2sea with opportunities to further strengthen relationships in Japan’s growing energy transition market and explore future partnerships in offshore hydrogen.

H2sea has been selected to join the EU Business Hub – Japan and the Republic of Korea, an EU funded programme that strengthens co-operations between Europe’s and Asia’s frontrunners in the hydrogen economy. The programme supports innovative European companies in green technologies.

Following a competitive selection process, H2sea will take part in the five-day business mission to Japan (15-19 September), centered around the Smart Energy Week Autumn 2025 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.

The programme includes three days of exhibiting at the EU Pavilion, where H2sea will showcase its expertise in offshore hydrogen, complemented by targeted B2B matchmaking, networking events, sector briefings and knowledge exchange.
This mission will strengthen H2sea’s ties with Japan’s fast-growing hydrogen market and open doors for future collaboration.
