As sister companies pioneering in offshore hydrogen solutions, we operate from a joint office, fostering collaboration across teams.
Enersea specialises in hydrogen pipeline design, including strategies for repurposing existing pipelines, while H2sea focuses on platform design (centralised, decentralised, or hybrid), hydrogen storage solutions like UHS, energy storage solutions (ESS), and grid optimisation.
Together, we play a key engineering and advisory role in hydrogen demonstration projects such as H2opZee, H2Shore, and HOPE.
Additionally, we have developed proprietary hydrogen platform designs with capacities ranging from 50MW to 1000MW.

Your role in the team
As a Project Engineer Hydrogen, you will oversee the technical aspects of hydrogen projects, ensuring that solutions meet client requirements while effectively managing schedules and budgets. We seek a candidate with a positive and proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Lead technical coordination, ensuring solutions meet client requirements with a focus on innovation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Workflow Management: Organise work to meet project goals, prepare concise progress reports, and ensure timely action follow-ups.
  • Quality Assurance: Own deliverables (reports, drawings), ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively engage with design teams, support Document Control, and foster positive interactions.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to maintain alignment on project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the offshore design environment, including limitations and best practices.
    • Proficient in specifications, materials, and design rules for offshore applications.
    • Skilled in design tools such as Office 365 and AutoCAD, FEM tools is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (more seniority is advantageous).
  • Dutch-speaking or willing to learn for social integration with colleagues.
  • Flexible and proactive, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Time & Location

  • 0.8 to 1 FTE
  • Schiedam office/Hybrid Working options possible
