H2sea exhibitor at WindEurope 2026 Madrid

H2sea exhibiting at WindEurope 2026 Madrid - Dutch Pavilion stand g-G20

From 21–23 April, H2sea will be present at WindEurope 2026 in Madrid. You can find us in the Innovation Quarter of the Dutch Pavilion (stand 9-G20).

We will be showcasing our green hydrogen solutions across the complete value chain, ranging from our newly introduced onshore hydrogen production modules to complete offshore hydrogen platforms.

Our approach ensures a balanced and integrated system design, with a strong focus on balance of stack engineering. In addition, we address key system interfaces such as pipeline integration, grid stabilisation and off-grid solutions.

On behalf of H2sea ,Tom Evertse, Technical Consultant, will be present at our booth. If you are looking for expertise for your hydrogen project, feel free to reach out via t.evertse@H2sea.n to connect or schedule a meeting in advance.

Looking forward to meet you in Madrid!

H2sea Presents at DMEC Deep Dive on Offshore Green Hydrogen

H2sea gives presentation at DMEC during Deep Dive on Offshore Green Hydrogen

H2sea was invited to present at the DMEC Deep Dive, a quarterly international forum hosted by the Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC). DMEC serves as an accelerator and knowledge hub for offshore renewable energy innovation.

The June edition, held on 17 June, focused on offshore green hydrogen, bringing together key stakeholders to explore the latest developments, technological maturity, and market readiness of this rapidly evolving sector. Discussions also addressed the challenges and opportunities of integrating green hydrogen into existing offshore energy infrastructure.

Mohool Misra, project engineer hydrogen at H2sea, shared insights from H2sea’s current research projects and future vision for offshore hydrogen production. Other speakers included Bureau Veritas, the OASIS project, Eindhoven University of Technology, and DMEC itself.

We thank DMEC for the opportunity and look forward to continued collaboration in advancing offshore hydrogen solutions.

EBN and H2SEA host workshop on Underground Hydrogen Storage

Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) and H2SEA hosted a highly informative workshop on Underground Hydrogen Storage (UHS) at EBN’s office in Utrecht on October 10th, attracting approximately 40 industry professionals. The workshop facilitated in-depth discussions and explored the future of underground hydrogen storage, a crucial component in the energy transition.

The morning session featured presentations from EBN and H2SEA. EBN provided a technical introduction to the underground characteristics of reservoirs, while H2SEA delivered a comprehensive overview of topside facilities, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges of underground hydrogen storage. Both organisations presented insights from their joint research on hydrogen storage.

In the afternoon, participants engaged in interactive brainstorming sessions, discussing innovative strategies and potential pathways for the development of underground hydrogen storage.

The workshop was highly successful, generating numerous in-depth questions from industry experts and providing valuable insights from H2SEA and EBN.

H2SEA presents at IQPC Conference in Bremen

H2SEA is proud to announce that Edwin van Drunen, Managing Director, will be presenting at the IQPC Offshore Substations & Foundations conference, held in Bremen from 24 to 28 August.

During his presentation, Edwin will provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities related to offshore hydrogen systems, including the key elements involved and their sizes in different system arrangements. He will also address how these systems can be controlled amidst wind variability and the considerations that must be made for both off-grid and grid-connected configurations.

Additionally, Edwin will participate in the panel discussion on Offshore Wind to H2: Decentralised vs. Centralised Hydrogen Production together with Anders Bach Andersen, Senior Product Market Specialist at Vestas Wind Systems.

The discussion will focus on the impact of decentralised production on foundation and platform design, as well as an analysis of the costs and risks associated with centralised offshore production. The discussion will also explore the infrastructural requirements and potential impact on powertrain technology. The Annual Offshore Wind 2024 conference, organized by IQPC, marks its 13th consecutive year and continues its tradition as a premier event in the offshore wind industry.

H2SEA lectures at H2Makers event at TU Delft

Tom Evertse, Technical Consultant Offshore Hydrogen at H2SEA, presented on the H2Makers Meet-up at TU Delft themed Offshore Hydrogen Production on June 27.

The event focused on technologies and requirements for offshore hydrogen production, drawing significant interest from Energy companies, Regulatory bodies, Hydrogen start-ups and South Holland’s manufacturing industry.

Evertse outlined the technical challenges associated with four main hydrogen production subsystems, namely electrical systems, water treatment, cooling systems and hydrogen treatment. Attendees posed numerous technical and regulatory questions, fostering a productive dialogue about the future of hydrogen energy.

“I’m thrilled to present to such a proactive audience said Evertse. It’s only through industry-wide collaboration that we can solve these challenges”.

The event featured contributions from TU Delft, SwitcH2, and PosHYdon, each detailing their progress and challenges in offshore hydrogen.

The H2Makers Meet-Up underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration and continuous learning in advancing offshore hydrogen production.
